Danijel Krizmanić is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Rijeka. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Zagreb (2010) and has been affiliated with the University of Rijeka since 2004, advancing from Teaching Assistant to Assistant Professor (2015) and then to his current position (2021). His research focuses on probability theory, stochastic processes, and dynamical systems, with particular emphasis on functional limit theorems, extreme value theory, and applications in statistical analysis.
- Education: B.Sc. (2003), Ph.D. (2010) in Mathematics from the University of Zagreb.
- Research Projects: Leader of the UNIRI-plus project (2019) on stochastic methods in mathematical analysis. Key member in HRZZ and UNIRI projects addressing displacement operators, statistical laws, and infinite-dimensional dynamical systems.
His work bridges theoretical probability with applications in dynamical systems, including studies on linear processes, heavy-tailed distributions, and functional convergence. He contributes to international conferences and collaborates with institutions globally. Active in teaching, he currently instructs courses in Mathematical Analysis and Probability Theory.
