Danielle Najm is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Monash University. Her roles include academic leadership in nursing education and clinical practice innovation. She holds a Master of Professional Education and Training (Deakin University, 2009) and a Bachelor of Nursing (Deakin University, 1999).
Research interests focus on nursing education quality, healthcare workforce development, and clinical environment impacts on patient care. Notable projects include a review of Registered Nurse Standards for Practice (2024–2025), mental health workforce training initiatives (2023–2026), and a study on Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) clinical models (2021–2024).
Her 2024 article explored noise effects on nursing preceptors’ student evaluations. Najm received the Monash Nursing & Midwifery Research Development Grant (2021–2023) and contributed to media discussions on pandemic-era nursing education resilience.
