Dr. Danielle Collingridge Moore is a Research Fellow at Lancaster University’s International Observatory on End of Life Care, holding the inaugural Dowager Countess Eleanor Peel Trust Sir Robert Boyd Fellowship. Her work focuses on care homes, aging populations, and end-of-life care, employing mixed-methods research such as systematic reviews, randomized trials, and epidemiological studies.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she served as a subject matter expert at the UK Cabinet Office, managing the COVID-19 dashboard and collaborating with NHS, PHE, and the British Army. Her contributions earned her an MBE in 2022. Prior roles include coordinating the EU-funded PACE project, evaluating palliative care in European care homes, and developing a global MOOC on palliative care for older people.
Her research interests span policy implementation in long-term care facilities, pandemic response strategies, and improving end-of-life care through organizational interventions. She actively engages with international bodies like the United Nations and the EAPC, presenting at major conferences and contributing to policy white papers.
