Danielle Bouchard is a Full Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick (UNB). She holds a PhD in Gerontology from Université de Sherbrooke and has completed post-doctoral training in Epidemiology at Queen’s University and Endocrinology at Université de Sherbrooke. Her research focuses on developing and evaluating exercise programs for aging adults with chronic conditions, emphasizing adherence and functional benefits.

Current projects funded by CIHR and partners focus on reducing sedentary behavior in seniors and improving access to fall prevention programs.
Publications span clinical guidelines, intervention efficacy, and telehealth applications. Her work emphasizes translating research into practical solutions for aging populations.
