معرفی
Daniele Scano is a Research Contractor at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (DIMEAS) of Politecnico di Torino, affiliated with the College of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Automotive Engineering. He contributes to advanced research in aerospace structures and design, focusing on finite element modeling, structural kinematics, and dynamic analysis.
- Current Scientific Director of the MoStrAA (2025–2027) project under PNRR – Complementary Plan
- Course Collaborator for Aerospace Vehicle Design, Aeronautical Structures, and Design and Additive Manufacturing for Aerospace Applications (2022/23–2024/25)
His research explores variable kinematics beam/plate/shell theories, node-dependent finite element models, and minimum DOF optimization. Recent work includes dynamic analysis of aerospace structures and global-local analysis of thin-walled beams using Legendre polynomials.
Publications highlight interdisciplinary trends in aerospace structures, mechanics of advanced materials, and computational methods. Key subfields include structural dynamics, asymptotic-axiomatic methods, and additive manufacturing applications.
