Her work bridges cellular biology with clinical oncology through studies examining how obesity and diabetes alter rat prostate structure and cellular proliferation mechanisms.
Based at the Umuarama Campus in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, she maintains active research in prostate cancer biology while contributing to undergraduate and graduate education in cellular and structural disciplines through comprehensive teaching plans spanning multiple semesters.
