معرفی
Daniele Alessandro Cauzzi is an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry, University of Parma, specializing in coordination chemistry and hybrid materials. He obtained his Laurea in Chimica (1990) and Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences (1995) with research on xerogel materials, and has held academic positions since 1994.
- Research focus: Coordination chemistry, organometallic compounds, sol-gel methods, zwitterionic metalates, and stabilization of metal nanoparticles
- Key contributions: Development of molecular thermometers, heterogeneous catalysts, and materials for cultural heritage
Recent publications highlight advancements in energy transfer catalysis using iridium complexes, all-metal aromatic catalytic platforms, and sustainable phosphite addition reactions. His work emphasizes ligand design, heterogeneous catalysis, and industrial applications.
- Patents: 3 national and 1 international patent
- Publications: Over 50 papers and 2 book chapters
He teaches courses including Inorganic Chemistry (first cycle degree) and Materials-by-Design Laboratory (second cycle degree) at the University of Parma, spanning both foundational and advanced chemistry education.
