Daniela Willimek

Daniela Willimek is a Lecturer in Piano at the University of Music Karlsruhe, specializing in music education and the emotional impact of music. She holds multiple honors including the GEDOK Concert Prize and fellowships from prestigious foundations. Her research focuses on the psychological dimensions of music through the Theory of Musical Equilibration, co-developed with her husband Bernd Willimek. She has performed internationally and produced notable recordings of works by underrepresented female composers like Violeta Dinescu and Margarete Schweikert.
