Daniela Travella is a Senior Lecturer at SDA Bocconi School of Management and Contract Professor in the Accounting Department at Università Bocconi. With a career spanning over three decades, she specializes in financial accounting, business reporting, and international accounting standards. Her research focuses on IFRS/IAS compliance, corporate restructuring, and the evolution of financial/non-financial reporting frameworks.
She earned a degree in Business Administration from Università Bocconi and an ITP (International Teachers Programme) from IMD. Her professional experience includes roles as a statutory auditor, board member, and currently serves as President of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Banca Popolare dell'Emilia Romagna.
Teaching domains include Financial Accounting, International Accounting Principles, and Financial Statement Analysis. Her recent publications address IFRS 16 implementation, agricultural business accounting, and leasing standards evolution. She received the 2022 Award from SDA Bocconi School of Management.
