Dr. Daniela Teixeira is a Research Fellow in Immunology at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS), a partnership between the University of Sussex and University of Brighton. She joined Professor Florian Kern's research team in 2022, focusing on T-cell responses in infection and ageing. Previously, she spent 14 years at Brazil's Federal University of Sao Paulo (UNIFESP) as a Biomedical Technician and postdoctoral researcher.

She specializes in flow cytometry applications, cellular immunology mechanisms, and vaccine adjuvant development using models like Propionibacterium acnes.
