Daniela Tavasci

Daniela Tavasci is a Professor and Director of Global Engagement at the School of Economics and Finance, Queen Mary University of London. She holds a PhD in Economics (London), MSc in Development Economics (London), and degrees in Political Sciences and Economics from the University of Bologna. An AHE Principal Fellow, she specializes in heterodox political economy and inclusive education. Her research focuses on international economics, development inequality, and educational disparities, with notable contributions to teaching methodologies rooted in historical perspectives. She co-founded the International Association Teaching with Historical Perspectives and chairs the Royal Economic Society's Women in Economics Network. Her work integrates global engagement strategies with pedagogical innovation.
