Jonathan Filippon

Dr. Jonathan Filippon is a Senior Lecturer in Health Systems at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), affiliated with the Wolfson Institute of Population Health (WIPH) and the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. He holds a PhD in Public Health from QMUL and an MSc from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. His research focuses on the Political Economy of Health and Healthcare, examining issues like healthcare financing, workforce arrangements, and the impact of international trade policies on healthcare access. He is course lead for the MSc in Global Public Health and Policy and co-lead of WIPH postgraduate courses. He chairs the Global Engagement and Partnerships Committee within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
