Daniela Pianezzi is a Visiting Fellow at the University of Essex's Essex Business School and affiliated with the University of Verona. Previously, she served as Lecturer (2017–2022) and Senior Lecturer (2019–2022) at the University of Essex. Her research focuses on organizational ethics, gender theories, and precarious work, with current projects exploring transgender workers' experiences in Pakistan and Italy, and gender mainstreaming initiatives in Japan.

Research Interests: Daniela examines how values and norms shape organizational identity and identification processes. Her work bridges critical theory with practical applications in management control systems, neoliberal ethics, and the intersection of gender with labor dynamics. Recent projects emphasize marginalized workers' experiences and institutional gender policies.
Teaching: She teaches work and organization studies at the University of Verona and has contributed to Essex Business School's curriculum on organizational ethics and management.
