معرفی
Prof. Dr. Daniela Pfannkuche is a faculty member at the University of Hamburg, affiliated with the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences and the Department of Physics. She leads the Dynamics in Correlated Systems research group at the I. Institute for Theoretical Physics. Her work spans theoretical and computational approaches in condensed matter physics and quantum mechanics, focusing on nanostructures, spintronics, and ultrafast electron dynamics.
- Research Highlights: Magnetic nanostructures, ultra-cold atoms, spin-orbit coupling, graphene systems, and quantum well decoherence.
- Methodological Expertise: Time-dependent configuration interaction, renormalization techniques (DMRG), and computational modeling of nanoscale phenomena.
Her publications address quantum coherence, correlation-driven charge migration, and topological phases in artificial systems. Collaborations include experimental groups like Blick's group and C. Kim's group. She teaches at the institute and offers research opportunities to motivated students.
