Prof. Dr. Daniela Neri-Ultsch holds a professorship at the University of Regensburg's Institute of History, specializing in European History (19th and 20th centuries). She previously served as an extraordinary professor and acted as Acting Professor for European Contemporary History at the University of Siegen (2010-2011). Her research focuses on women's political participation, French Revolution studies, and diplomatic history. She curated the traveling exhibition 'Madam Member of Parliament, You Have the Floor!' (2016/2017) highlighting Bavarian women's parliamentary contributions.
Educated at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (Masters 1988, PhD 1991), she completed her Habilitation at Regensburg University (2003). Her career includes roles at the German Historical Institutes in Rome and Paris, and since 2014 she serves as Hanns Seidel Foundation Liaison Lecturer.
Her scholarship spans reviews of major historical works and biographical studies of key figures like Camille Desmoulins and Anton von Cetto. She maintains active engagement in European historical discourse through teaching and public exhibitions.
