معرفی
Daniela Maria Pampanin is a Professor at the University of Stavanger's Department of Chemistry, Bioscience and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology. She leads the Biological Chemistry group and the Ecotoxicology and Environmental Monitoring research group, while also serving as EU coordinator for the Faculty. Her work bridges environmental monitoring, risk assessment, and molecular biology techniques.
Her research focuses on:
- Ecotoxicology of legacy/emerging contaminants
- Environmental risk assessment (ERA) for industries and governments
- Molecular and biochemical methods for sub-lethal contaminant analysis
- Omics technologies (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics)
- Marine organism responses to pollutants
Her publication trends (2022-2025) reveal strong emphasis on:
- Advanced environmental monitoring techniques (digital pathology, automated histology)
- Pollution impact studies (oil, PPCPs, PAHs) in marine ecosystems
- Aquaculture health and nutrition innovations
- Molecular toxicology mechanisms in fish and invertebrates
She actively contributes to international scientific bodies including ICES' Working Group on Biological Effects of Contaminants (WGBEC) and the Ocean Technology Innovation Cluster Stavanger (OTICS).
