Daniela Lehner

Daniela Lehner is a Lecturer and Research Assistant at the Institute of Landscape Architecture, University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU), where she has been active since 2020. She holds a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture and Landscape Planning from BOKU (2014). Prior to her current role, she served as a Lecturer at Universidad Austral de Chile (2017-2020) and worked as a landscape architect in Vienna and Copenhagen.

Her research explores:

• Urban transformation processes
• Interplay between landscape and infrastructure
• Cultural landscape dynamics
• Research through design methodologies
• Arts-based approaches to landscape studies

She has presented her work at 21 international conferences across 8 countries, including keynote addresses on climate adaptation in urban spaces (2025) and cultural landscape preservation (2024). No scientific awards or student advising activities are documented.
