Daniela Ecker

Daniela Ecker serves as a University Assistant (Scientific Associate) at the Institute for Environmental Law, Johannes Kepler University Linz, where she holds office in the Management Center (Room 208B, temporarily MZ 209B from December 2024). With qualifications including Mag., Dr., and LL.B., she teaches multiple environmental law courses across various programs including General Environmental Law, Private Environmental Law, International Environmental Law, and specialized workshops on Corporate Environmental Law.

Her research focuses on critical intersections of environmental governance and corporate accountability, particularly examining sustainability reporting frameworks, supply chain regulations, and implementation challenges of EU environmental directives. Ecker's work addresses practical legal gaps in environmental enforcement mechanisms, with particular attention to private enforcement pathways and corporate liability structures. Her research methodology combines doctrinal legal analysis with practical implementation studies, often conducted through commissioned research projects for governmental and institutional clients.
