Daniela Borodak

Daniela Borodak is a Lecturer-researcher at the School of Management, University of Clermont Auvergne, affiliated with Clermont Research Management (CleRMa). She holds a Doctor of Economics and teaches economics, statistics, and corporate governance at Clermont School of Business (formerly ESC Clermont Business School). Her research spans corporate governance, gender diversity in boards, migration studies, and development economics.

Her primary research interests focus on corporate governance structures, particularly examining board gender diversity and its relationship with ESG performance across different varieties of capitalism. She has conducted significant research on the "multiple glass ceiling" phenomenon in European organizations and has published extensively on the evolution of governance structures in French companies. Her earlier work focused on migration patterns, particularly irregular migration from Moldova, and agricultural economics during transition periods.

Analysis of her recent publications (2022-2024) reveals a strong focus on gender diversity in corporate leadership and its impact on ESG performance, with methodological approaches incorporating comparative institutional analysis across European economies. Her work bridges theoretical frameworks from institutional economics with empirical analysis of corporate governance data.

Daniela coordinated the "Feel Good Campus" project for promoting well-being and health at ESC Clermont Business School between 2022 and 2023. She has established research collaborations with scholars across European institutions, particularly with Xavier Hollandts and Isabelle Allemand on corporate governance topics, and with Matloob Piracha and Ariane Tichit on migration studies.
