Professor Daniel Yi Xu is a Professor of Economics and Co-Director of Admissions for the PhD Program in Economics at Duke University's Trinity College of Arts & Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University (2007).
His research focuses on Productivity, International Trade, and Industrial Organization, with emphasis on emerging economies like China, Colombia, Taiwan, Korea, and Turkey.
