Daniel Yero Corona

Dr. Daniel Yero Corona is an Associate Professor at the Department of Genetics and Microbiology, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. His research focuses on microbial pathogenesis, particularly in Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, with emphasis on quorum sensing mechanisms, biofilm formation, and antimicrobial resistance strategies. He has held academic positions including Interim Associate Professor (2013-2020) and part-time roles at the University of Havana (2009-2010).
