Daniel Wohl serves as Visiting Assistant Professor of Music at Occidental College since 2018. Born in Paris and based in Los Angeles, he is internationally recognized for innovative compositions blending electronic and acoustic elements, earning acclaim from NPR, The New York Times, and Pitchfork.
His educational background includes:

Wohl's research explores the integration of technology in acoustic performance contexts across contemporary classical, film, and television domains. His creative practice spans intimate solo works to large-scale orchestral compositions, emphasizing immersive electronic textures and cross-disciplinary experimentation.
