Dr. Daniel Wessolek is a Lecturer and Head of the Media Lab at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste Nürnberg since October 2023. His work integrates creative coding, microcontroller technologies, media installations, and artistic research, emphasizing critical engagement with technology through open-source practices. He holds a doctorate in Art & Design from Bauhaus-Universität Weimar (2016), an MFA in Media Art and Design (2008), an MA in Art Theory from Tongji University (2010), and a BA in Digital Media from Bremen University of the Arts (2006).
