Daniel Thursz

Daniel Thursz was the Daniel Thursz Distinguished Professor of Social Justice and former Dean (1966-1976) at the University of Maryland School of Social Work. He held leadership roles in organizations like B’nai B’rith International and the National Council on Aging. His career spanned academia, social work practice, and policy advocacy, with a focus on aging populations, social justice, and intergenerational equity.
