Daniel Thero

Daniel Thero is a Lecturer in Cognitive Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), specializing in Philosophy. He serves as the undergraduate program coordinator in Philosophy and teaches courses such as Introduction to Philosophy, Philosophy of Biology, Metaphysics and Consciousness, Environmental Philosophy, Great Ideas in Philosophy, and Philosophy, Technology and the Human Future. His academic background includes an M.S. in Philosophy from RPI (1993) and an undergraduate focus in science.

Dr. Thero's research centers on weakness of will, exploring its philosophical and psychological dimensions.
