Daniel Sigman is the Dusenbury Professor of Geological and Geophysical Sciences at Princeton University's Department of Geosciences. His research focuses on biogeochemistry of modern and ancient environments, particularly oceanic interactions with the global carbon cycle and climate change over ice-age cycles, alongside method development in isotope geochemistry. He is affiliated with Princeton's High Meadows Environmental Institute (HMEI) Grand Challenges Program.
