Daniel Segal

Daniel Segal, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. His clinical and research focus centers on minimally invasive and robotic surgical approaches for prostate cancer (including focal therapies), kidney cancer, and benign prostatic hyperplasia. He joined the faculty in 2024 following advanced training in robotic surgery and urologic oncology.

Research Interests:Focuses on advancing precision medicine and minimally invasive techniques in urologic oncology. Active in translational research exploring targeted therapies for genitourinary cancers, particularly leveraging robotic systems for improved surgical outcomes.
