Dr. Daniel S. Katz is a Research Associate Professor at the Siebel School of Computing and Data Science and School of Information Sciences at the University of Illinois. He also serves as Chief Scientist at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) and is affiliated with the Personalized Nutrition Initiative at the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology. His work focuses on advancing research software sustainability, open science practices, and high-performance computing.
