Daniel P. Scheid is an Associate Professor of Theology and Director of Undergraduate Studies at Duquesne University's McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts. He holds a Ph.D. in Theological Ethics from Boston College (2008), an M.A. in Theology from Catholic Theological Union (2004), and an A.B. in History from Princeton University (1998). His research focuses on interreligious ecological ethics, integrating Catholic social thought with Hindu and Buddhist traditions. He authored The Cosmic Common Good (Oxford, 2016) and has published over 20 scholarly articles and book chapters.
