Dr. Daniel Martin is an Honorary Associate Professor at the Australian National University (ANU), School of Literature, Languages & Linguistics. He holds five university degrees across multiple disciplines, including a PhD in Linguistics from ANU. His research focuses on sociolinguistics, language teaching methodologies, and creative writing. He established the Spanish program at ANU in 2005 and led the team that won a national teaching award in 2012. He is also a creative practitioner with works in science fiction, experimental fiction, and theatre of the absurd.
