Daniel Kroupa

Daniel Kroupa is a Lecturer II of History and serves as Director of Museum Studies and Director of the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies Program at the University of Detroit Mercy's College of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences. He joined the faculty in 2010 and specializes in American history, museum education, and public history.

Research & Experience: Kroupa has extensive museum professional experience, including roles as a historical interpreter at Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village, manager of educational programs at the Automotive Hall of Fame, and Social Science Education Specialist at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. His work focuses on museum curation, docent program management, and integrating history education with public engagement.
