Associate Professor Daniel Kosov is a leading researcher in quantum transport and nonequilibrium quantum systems at James Cook University (JCU). He holds a PhD from JINR, Dubna (1996), and has held academic and research positions at institutions including the University of Maryland (USA) and Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium). His current role at JCU focuses on advancing quantum technologies, particularly silicon-molecule-silicon circuits and molecular-scale sensors. He has organized multiple international workshops on quantum transport and collaborates globally.
Education:

Research Interests: Quantum transport in nanoscale systems, open nonequilibrium quantum systems, quantum technologies, and molecular electronics. His group develops methods like Floquet engineering and Keldysh Green's functions to model quantum devices.
Publications: Over 95 articles, focusing on quantum transport dynamics, molecular motors, piezoresistive effects, and superconductivity in open systems. Recent work addresses noise in quantum systems and current-driven phenomena.
