Daniel Jethanamest

Dr. Daniel Jethanamest is an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, serving as Director of Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery. He specializes in hearing rehabilitation using cochlear implants, endoscopic ear surgery, and acoustic neuroma treatment. His research bridges technical innovation with clinical care, focusing on implantable devices and translational auditory research. Dr. Jethanamest holds an MD from NYU (2006), completed residency at NYU Langone (2011), and a fellowship in Neurotology/Skull Base Surgery at the University of Miami (2013). He collaborates with NYU’s Cochlear Implant Center and the Laboratory for Translational Auditory Research to optimize hearing restoration technologies.
