Professor Daniel Isaksen is a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics at Wayne State University, within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on algebraic topology, particularly stable and motivic homotopy theory, with emphasis on computations of homotopy groups of spheres and their applications to differential structures and algebraic geometry. His work is supported by multiple National Science Foundation grants and other prestigious awards.
