Dr. Daniel Hoornweg is an Associate Professor and Richard Marceau Chair at the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science of Ontario Tech University. His research focuses on urban systems, energy use, waste management, and sustainability. He brings over 20 years of experience as a World Bank Lead Advisor on cities and climate change, and former Chief Safety and Risk Officer at the Ontario Technical Safety Standards Association (TSSA).
