Dr. Daniel Hawes is a Contract Lecturer in the Creative Industries department at Toronto Metropolitan University and holds an adjunct professor role at Carleton University's School of Information Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Design. He is a multidisciplinary academic and entrepreneur with 25 years of experience in animation, gaming, and technology innovation. His research focuses on VR-based learning experiences, AI applications, and reducing racial barriers in education through immersive technologies.
