Daniel Hannah is an Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Georgia in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, with an additional appointment in the Department of Physical Therapy at the College of Allied Health Sciences. His work centers on sports medicine and biomechanics.

Research Interests
Dr. Hannah's research focuses on sports medicine, particularly upper extremity biomechanics and the anatomical and biomechanical risk factors for upper extremity injuries in overhead athletes. His work aims to improve therapeutic interventions and injury prevention strategies for athletes through studies in kinesiology, biomechanics, and MSK ultrasound applications.

Teaching and Service
Dr. Hannah teaches courses including Foundations of Medicine, Musculoskeletal/Skin, Orthopaedic PT II, Cardiopulmonary/Heme, GI/GU/Endocrine, and Patient Centered Learning 2. His teaching expertise spans gross anatomy, athletic injury evaluation, and therapeutic intervention. He serves as a Committee Member on the AU Faculty Senate Athletics Committee from 2023 to 2026.
