Daniel Garry

Daniel Garry, MD, PhD is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School in the Cardiovascular Division. He serves as Preceptor for the Medical Scientist Training Program (MD/PhD), and as faculty in multiple graduate programs including the PhD in Integrative Biology and Physiology, PhD in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology and Genetics, and Masters in Stem Cell Biology. His research focuses on myocardial regeneration, interspecies chimerism for organ transplantation, and cardiovascular developmental biology.

Daniel Garry's work bridges cardiovascular medicine and genetic engineering to address organ transplantation shortages. Key areas include:
