Daniel Ferris serves as Director of the Entrepreneurship program at Olivet Nazarene University's McGraw School of Business for the 2025-2026 academic year, teaching Entrepreneurship major/minor courses while overseeing the Createur Conference & Pitch Competition and Crawford Startup Studio.
Alumnus of ONU (1990 undergraduate, 2001 MBA) and member of the first Engineering graduating class, his professional expertise spans biotechnology operations and nonprofit leadership development. He integrates practical business acumen with spiritual mentorship in student coaching.
Current initiatives focus on building student graduation/career pathways, expanding entrepreneurial support through pitch competitions and mentoring networks, and growing the Createur Conference to engage regional high school and college participants.
His leadership emphasizes Kingdom-centered business education within ONU's Christian framework, leveraging multi-generational institutional knowledge to guide student ventures from ideation to launch.
Deeply embedded in ONU's community through family ties spanning five decades - including grandfather Harold Yochim '53, father Dan J. Ferris '69, brother Derek '93/'02 MBA, and three ONU-graduate children - Ferris embodies the university's legacy of faith-integrated business education.
