Daniel Ferguson is a Newton International Fellow in the Department of Philosophy at King's College London. His research focuses on Aristotelian ethics, particularly virtue theory and methodological approaches in the Eudemian Ethics. He holds a PhD in Classics and Philosophy from Yale University (2021) and a BA from UNC-Chapel Hill (2013).
Dr. Ferguson's current project examines conceptual frameworks of virtue and ethical reasoning in Aristotle's Eudemian Ethics. His publications analyze core arguments including the telos and ergon arguments, exploring their implications for contemporary virtue ethics.
He has held visiting positions at the University of Michigan and University of Oxford. His fellowship at King's College London continues through March 2025, supporting his research on Aristotelian ethical methodology.
