Benjamin Ferguson is a Professor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) and Director of the PPE programme at the University of Warwick. His research focuses on moral and political philosophy, particularly the ethics of market-based interactions such as exploitation and fraud, alongside inquiries into Kantian ethics, love, and moral reasoning. He teaches PH337 (Principles of Political Economy: Economics & Philosophy) in collaboration with Peter Hammond.
Dr. Ferguson’s work spans interdisciplinary topics including bioethics, global health policy, and colonialism’s ethical implications. Recent research examines issues like HIV testing policies in Zambia, intergenerational risk pooling, and territorial rights.
