Daniel E. Crocker

Daniel E. Crocker is a Professor of Biology at Sonoma State University, affiliated with the College of Science, Technology, and Business. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and completed postdoctoral research at the same institution. His work focuses on the physiological and behavioral ecology of marine mammals, particularly pinnipeds like northern elephant seals and leopard seals. Research themes include fasting physiology, stress responses, diving adaptations, and the impact of environmental stressors such as climate change and pollutants.
