Daniel Czech is the Dean of the School of Applied Sciences and Professor of Health, Exercise Science, and Recreation Management at the University of Mississippi. He assumed this role in June 2025, bringing extensive leadership experience from prior deanships at Eastern Kentucky University and Georgia College, and over two decades of academic service at Georgia Southern University.
Research Interests: His scholarly work focuses on performance psychology, emotional intelligence in leadership, positive psychology interventions, psychological skills training, and post-pandemic health behaviors. He integrates evidence-based psychological principles into both athletic and corporate performance settings.
