Dr. Daniel Curewitz is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Syracuse University's College of Arts & Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Structural Geology from Duke University (1999) and a B.A. in Environmental Science (Honors) from Wesleyan University (1992). His teaching focuses on Earth system science, including courses like Oceanography, Volcanoes and Earthquakes, and Structural Geology.
