Prof. Daniel Burgarth holds a Professorship at the Chair for Quantum Theory at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Previously, he was an Associate Professor and Future Fellow at Macquarie University (Sydney) and a Lecturer at Aberystwyth University. His career includes postdoctoral roles at ETH Zurich, Oxford University, and Imperial College London, supported by an EPSRC Fellowship (2009). He specializes in quantum control, quantum information, and system theory, with collaborations at RIKEN and Waseda University.
