Professor Daniel Bruce Ennis is a leading academic in cardiovascular MRI and radiology at Stanford University. He holds a joint appointment in the Department of Radiology and a courtesy appointment in Bioengineering. As Director of Radiology Research at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System, he oversees a growing research program. His career includes a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins, a postdoc at Stanford, and a decade leading NIH-funded studies at UCLA. He specializes in developing advanced MRI methods for assessing cardiac structure, function, and remodeling, with a focus on translational applications in adult and pediatric populations.

He also develops clinical tools for non-invasive pressure estimation and valve dynamics analysis.
