Daniel Bischof is an Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science, Aarhus University. His research focuses on political behavior, electoral dynamics, and intergroup conflict in European contexts.
He has investigated how simple language affects voter knowledge, xenophobic hate crimes linked to out-group threats, and the role of transnational party alliances in shaping national policies. His work appears in top-tier journals like the Journal of Politics, American Political Science Review, and Political Science Research and Methods.
Current projects include DEMOCRATIC NORMS (2022–2025) and The Causes & Consequences of Extreme Party Entrance (2019–2023). He has collaborated with scholars such as R. Senninger, T. Kurer, and F. Foos.
