Daniel Bakston

Dr. Daniel Bakston serves as the Interim Director and Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at UI Health, part of the University of Illinois at Chicago. He specializes in post-offer employment physicals, fitness-for-duty evaluations, and return-to-work assessments. As a certified Medical Review Officer, he addresses acute work-related injuries and poisonings, and conducts independent medical evaluations. He leads the Occupational Medicine residency program at UI Health and is board-certified in Preventative Medicine.
