Daniel Andreescu is an Associate Professor and Instrumentation Manager in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Science at Clarkson University. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Bucharest (2002), and has held roles including Research Scientist at the National Research and Development Institute for Industrial Ecology (ECOIND) and the International Center of Biodynamics in Romania. His research focuses on nanomaterials, environmental chemistry, and electrochemical sensing, with emphasis on nanoparticle synthesis, environmental applications, and toxicology assessment.
