Prof. Daniel Ampofo Ohene-Adu is a Part-Time Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Design at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. With nearly 40 years of teaching experience, he has trained numerous graphic design professionals and held significant administrative roles including Dean of the Faculty of Art (6 years), Vice Dean (1 year), and Head of the Department of Communication Design (4 years).

His research focuses on visual communication's role in safety measures, signage systems, and design education. Notably, he developed a signage system adopted by KNUST that remains in use today. He has served as an External Examiner at the University of Education, Winneba, and Takoradi Technical University, and conducted external assessments for universities globally.
Prof. Ampofo has undertaken professional development in the UK and South Africa, enriching his expertise in communication design.
